The Stellenbosch Wine Festival (23-25 February 2019)
Known as the oldest wine festival in the country, the Stellenbosch Wine Festival, presented by Pick ‘n Pay, is a wine, food and lifestyle festival held in the heart of Stellenbosch. From the 23rd to the 25th of February 2019, hundreds of Stellenbosch Wines from award-winning producers to small boutique wineries will be showcased. Tickets range from R150 for the general wine experience to R350 for the premium wine experience and can be booked on Web Ticket for this prestigious event that will be held at the Coetzenburg Sports Grounds, Stellenbosch.
Cape Town Cycle Tour Lifecycle Week (2-11 March 2019)
Celebrating all things cycling and attracting both local and international cyclists between the ages of two to the mid-nineties. The Cape Town Cycle Tour Lifecycle Week is a 9-day celebration that kicks off with the MTB Challenge. It’s held out in the Cape Winelands on Saturday and ending off with South Africa’s biggest cycling exhibition, the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo. They even have a junior race for future champs of this wonderful sport. Entries are still open for the MTB challenge and the Junior Tour Race. To attend the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo, tickets will cost you R50 if you’re an adult and not participating in the Cape Town Cycle Tour, kids under 12 and entered cyclists go in for free. You can even book a stand at the expo.
The Cape Town International Jazz Festival (29- 30 March 2019)
The Cape Town International Jazz Festival is Cape Town’s biggest annual music event. Attracting over 40 international and local well-known jazz artists, this event is in fact, the largest music event in sub-Saharan Africa. Hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Africa’s Grandest Gathering will be held on Friday the 29th of March and Saturday the 30th of March 2019. Early bird tickets have been sold out but Weekend Pass which costs R1290 is available and so is the Day Pass for R850 and can be booked at Computicket. This 2-day award winning event which attracts over 32 000 people, boasting 5 stages is an event you need to be a part of.
